An extraordinary live discussion with six special guests created by Migrations in Venue Cymru, Llandudno. Inspired by cult 1980’s TV show After Dark, 'Sandbox' is an unedited, uncensored, late-night live broadcast with no studio audience and no set end-time. These unique conditions provoking unusually open and memorable conversations. Hosted by writer and presenter, Peter Curran, creator of Radio 4’s Bunk Bed, this innovative event brought together six opinionated people from various backgrounds and viewpoints to engage in a free and open-ended discussion on a theme: State of Unease. About the Participants • Peter Curran : A well known voice to listeners of BBC Radio 4, former host of Loose Ends and most recently of the wonderfully bizarre Bunk Bed, with Patrick Marber. • Emma Kennedy : Fresh from her successful BBC ONE sitcom The Kennedys, Emma is also a children’s author and keen amateur cook, winning Celebrity Masterchef 2012. • Mary Dejevsky : Foreign correspondent for The Spectator and The Independent, Mary reports regulary from Russia and eastern Europe and brings expertise in foreign and domestic politics. * Salina Godden : A writer and widely published poet from London. Her most recent publication is a chapter in the warmly-received collection The Good Immigrant. • Dr. Llewelyn Morgan : Bringing an historical perspective to the conversation, Dr. Morgan is a Classics fellow at Brasenose College, Oxford. • Prof. Peter Kinderman : Prof. Kinderman is President British Psychological Society and professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
